Director

Casey serves as Director of Fractional CFO Services at Opus Consulting. In this role, he onboards new accounting clients and oversees critical accounting processes. He ensures compliance with internal controls and aligns practices with industry standards. Moreover, he constantly seeks opportunities to improve client profitability.

He manages client relationships and supervises accounting departments. Additionally, he identifies ways to optimize financial performance across all operations.

In restructuring engagements, Casey oversees financial operations for distressed companies. He manages cash flow, budget forecasting, and financial reporting. As a result, he maintains business continuity, protects creditor interests, and strengthens relationships with lenders and banking partners. Furthermore, he collaborates closely with legal teams to identify, catalog, and market assets, maximizing value recovery for creditors.

Casey also handles ad hoc client accounting requests, including forensic accounting, budgeting, planning, and variance analysis. Beyond that, he provides debt financing support and has successfully helped clients secure multimillion-dollar funding for critical projects.

Before joining Opus, Casey spent 13 years in corporate accounting at a multinational IT company, including six years as a project controller. During this time, he gained extensive experience in financial operations and project management.

He holds an MBA and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. In addition, he serves as a Board Member for the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust. Outside of work, he can be found umpiring local college and high school baseball games or enjoying the great outdoors in Maine.
