Bankruptcies & Receiverships

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we come up short of our stated goals. In these cases, you need a partner familiar with the intricacies of the bankruptcy and/or receivership processes. Join the many firms who have trusted Opus Consulting to shepherd them through this difficult period with clarity, pragmatism and grace.

Bankruptcy Advisory

In addition to analyzing your financial situation (including assets, liabilities, cashflow and debt obligations), we also manage the bankruptcy proceedings in conjunction with legal counsel, prepare all required filings, and participate in hearings. When needed, we also assist with any other requirements such as debt restructuring, creditor negotiations, debtor-in-possession financing, cashflow management, and operational restructuring.

Receiverships

As an objective third party with impressive hands-on experience in strategy, finance and operations, Opus Consulting has frequently and successfully functioned as a Receiver.

Our team takes control of the business with the goal of preserving the interests of Creditors, works closely with legal counsel, prepares all reporting, and participates in hearings as needed. We also advise on and assist with all restructuring, financial and operational activities with the goal of either returning the firm to profitability or liquidating its assets.

Corporate Dissolution

This involves, among other things, the payment of all debts and liabilities, the liquidation of any remaining assets, and the formal closure of the company’s business operations.
