Opus Spotlight: Bill Eldridge
Editors note: Opus spotlight is a segment we will be doing to highlight some Opus’ partners and affiliates. These are the talented individuals we work with from time to time and we feel obligated to introduce them. They aren’t full time members of our team but work in collaboration with us.
Bill Eldridge, with over 50 years of business experience is regarded as the voice of wisdom by the Opus team. When not on the course, hitting the slopes or at the gym, Bill at 75 is still working as enthusiastically as ever. He has experience in agriculture both conventional and organic, food processing, solar engineering, franchising, high technology, publishing, distribution. He has held management positions in quality control, sales, marketing, production, finance, consulting and teaching for Fortune 100 companies and startups.
Bill has held positions of responsibility from directing a billion dollars sales company to starting up new ventures both domestically and internationally. His experience includes management, sales and marketing including distribution, production including quality control of food and manufactured goods, and financial and economic analysis, budgeting and cost and capital control.
Most recently, he founded and was Chairman and CEO of Maine’s Own Organic Milk Company, a L3C, a company organized to process and market organic milk products from a group of 10 organic dairy farmers throughout New England. He organized a group of strategic partners to provide hauling, processing, distributing and selling services while marketing directly to major grocery store chains and independents in New England.
