Quinton Jay has 20 years of experience running both boutique and well-known wineries, a private equity fund, a micro-lending fund, and as an expert witness in the alcohol beverage industry on four different occasions. He is the founding member of an adult beverage industry strategic consulting firm, a retailer of fine wines, craft beer, and artisanal spirits, and a micro-lender in Oregon. Quinton has spoken at over 25 industry conferences and is quoted in the press on a regular basis as a subject-matter expert.

As Managing Director with the Bacchus Consulting Group (http://www.bacchuscg.com/), an independent alcohol beverage consulting firm he founded in 2002, the consulting firm is focused on restructuring/turnarounds and optimizing business by integrating operations, sales (wholesale and direct to consumer), and financial management.

Quinton is the founder and proprietor of Bacchus Wine & Spirits Shop (www.BacchusWS.com) in Millbrae, CA, a full-service retail merchant of curated fine wine, craft beers, and artisanal spirits. Sharing a space with Pape Meat Company (est. 1958). BWS is leveraging the “store within a store” concept to drive wine sales, tastings, and wine clubs.

Most recently, Quinton founded Oregon Micro Fund to fill the capital gap needs of small rural businesses in growth mode. Focus sectors are the alcohol beverage industry.

Quinton also served as the Managing Director at Bacchus Capital Management where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential transactions, overseeing the performance of Bacchus portfolio wineries, and managing the research, investment, and marketing teams.

Previously he was Vice President, General Manager of Artesa Vineyards and Winery, managing all aspects of the
 100,000 case ultra-premium brand. Prior to Artesa, he was Business Manager at Etude Wines and General Manager of Bonny Doon Vineyard.

He began his career in the beverage industry in brand management and strategic planning at Coca-Cola, following his position as Associate Vice President in the corporate finance and investment banking division of Bank of America.
