Never has it been easier…
Never has it been easier to write and publish that book; you know, that book, which you had always intended to write. Small innovative publishers, shorter print runs, Amazon, and plethora of self-publishing options have all contributed to a boom for authors.
At OpusCG, we have not been immune to this trend. One of our consultants, Lou Zambello, has a passion for fly fishing and he recently published his second book, Fly Fishers Guide to New England, a where-to-go 338-page large-format book chock full of photos, maps, and fishing location descriptions. His first book, now in its third edition, is Fly fishing the Seasons of Northern New England, a how-to fly fishing book. Both books are available where fishing books are sold.
One of our clients, Rich Brooks, founder of Flyte New Media, a digital marketing and web development company, also just published his book, The Lead Machine: The Small Business Guide to Digital Marketing. We recommend Rich’s book to any small business owner or marketer that is trying to optimize that area of their business, a critical component these days for business success.
Publishing a book can be an effective way to gain credibility and generate leads and customers for your business. It can also be a rewarding personal experience for those who have thoughts and ideas that they want to share with others. If you are interested in writing and publishing a book, send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and Lou can perhaps offer you a bit of advice based on his experience.
