Jacques has worked for international groups in Europe and in the USA and held leadership positions in the entertainment, tourism, financial services and technology industries. He began his career in audit at Ernst &Young and then at Universal Pictures in Paris, France.
Since moving to Maine in 1999, Jacques has held several executive positions, turning around the newly acquired US operations of an international yacht charter company or serving as CFO of a multi-entity private capital firm that he helped recapitalized. He recently participated in the sale of the US business unit of a Canada-based IT services firm. Over the past few years, he has participated in a number of turnarounds, reorganizations and sale of companies in Southern Maine. He was also involved in a number of bank engagements in ME and VT.
He has experience in the areas of turnarounds, reorganization, due diligence, process improvement, financial systems, planning and analysis, sales and marketing strategy and overall business management.
Jacques holds an MBA from EDHEC School of Management in Lille, France with a concentration in Finance. In the Portland area, he participates to the community life as host and producer of a weekly show on WMPG, the Greater Portland community radio, as well as participating in several non-profit organizations as a board member.
Brian has held strategic planning, business development, relationship management and product development positions with a variety of New England companies from pre-revenue start-ups to established small businesses to Fortune 500 multinational corporations. He also previously practiced law, first with the law firm Goodwin Procter in Boston and then as in-house counsel with Citigroup in Portland.
Brian is a graduate of Williams College and the Boston University School of Law.
Prior to joining Opus Consulting Group, Brad worked for a Fortune-500 in Boston where he provided both public and private companies with assistance in various financial functions including; SEC Reporting, Month & Year End Close, Capital Planning, Tax and Project Analysis. He is also an Officer in the Massachusetts National Guard and most recently served as the lead mentor of an Embedded Training Team in Afghanistan. Brad is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts-Lowell where he earned a degree in Corporate Finance.
